Iran plans to design new helicopter stimulator

TEHRAN – Iranian Air Force plans to manufacture the country’s latest helicopter simulator, Kiomars Ahadi of the Air Force said on Sunday.

Speaking to IRNA news agency, Ahadi said that 80 percent of the project has completed so far.
He went to say that it is not economical for any country to use an actual helicopter to train their pilots, and that the Air Force has manufactured a number of helicopter simulators over the past 10 years.
Iran’s first helicopter simulator was named Afagh and the second one was named Mansour, he explained.
All pilot training centers across the country have access to these simulators now, he added
